He's very small. He's what they call a pygmy marmoset, I believe. One of the smallest monkey breeds of all.

What the hell keeps it from being prey out in the wilderness? Doubt something that small can defend itself from larger predators...

I'm sure they're kept in check by predators. Or they've developed other ways to deter being eaten.

And I read that they're very territorial. Perhaps they're fierce fighters.

I doubt they'd be able to do much of anything to something like a tiger or bear.
They probably just hang out far up in the trees for protection or something.

I think his neutral colouring helps too. He can blend in with trees and such. I know he likes to hide in some of my taller plants.

There were times that I did fear I lost him, but then I called out and he came up to me within seconds. I guess he didn't want me to worry about him.

I'd take a picture but it's hard enough to get him to stay in the sink, even when I'm gently coaxing him to hold still.
