I think his neutral colouring helps too. He can blend in with trees and such. I know he likes to hide in some of my taller plants.

Huh. Monkey games huh?
You ever think you lost him when he was pulling off shit like that?

There were times that I did fear I lost him, but then I called out and he came up to me within seconds. I guess he didn't want me to worry about him.

Smart monkey.

He's actually genuinely surprised with that bit.

I like to think he's a very smart monkey.

I can assure you. There is no such thing as a 'smart monkey'.

Witty monkey, maybe. Cheeky monkey? Definitely.

But you just called my monkey smart. And I completely agree.

That's because he's very fluffy. It's not nearly that big after he's had his bath.

So you're saying he looks more like a sad rat when he's wet.
That's an image I needed.
[
He can't imagine the scent of a wet monkey being a particularly good smell.

It's not as bad as it sounds.
I'd take a picture but it's hard enough to get him to stay in the sink, even when I'm gently coaxing him to hold still.

Considering he obeys most of the time, too. Perhaps he doesn't like soapy water.

Looked after a kid who pretty much acted like a damn feral monkey though. That and there were tons of the things around the temples I looked after.

The kid? Was there a monkey that was closer to you than the feral ones?
