........ Hmph.

[Which in Sanzo-talk was something along the lines of "Obviously Not". None the less, despite Venoms awkwardness to the situation, Sanzo didn't seem to give much of a damn. Instead sinking back into his seat within the lagoon. His arms spreading out and his head tilting back as to once more enjoy the comfort of the water.]

Maybe you need to go get further lost in the woods if you want to completely avoid people. But there's no guarantee with how many researchers are running about these days.

[Oh no, he didn't even think about that. He sighs, not wanting to run into researchers and possibly ruining any experiments they might have going. Thanks, Sanzo.

I feel it would be rude of me to ask to join you. I will stay on the other side of the lagoon and be away from your general vicinity.

[Watching the monkey struggle had been an interesting show at least. But Sanzos impatience was slowly beginning to get the better of him after the attempt took longer than five minutes.]

Oy. Weren't you paying attention when we were walked through this?

[Of course he probably didn't. It's Goku.

So, with a disgruntled sigh, did he take his feet out of the water. Instead walking his way over to the struggling brat. Taking the mask from Goku he forcefully pushed it against the others face.]

Inhale to seal it against your face. I'll adjust the straps after that.

[Stop being a dumbass and hurry up.]

Course I was, Sanzo!

[Actually he had been distracted by watching fish swim by in the water. They were so many colors! And they all looked mighty tasty too! But he still manages to sound irritated by Sanzo's implication that he is anything but prepared for this.]

Inhale to seal...that doesn't make any sens-[And then the mask is being shoved onto his face none too gently. He takes a big breath, hoping his cooperation will mean Sanzo letting go.

...And what do you know. It sticks.]

For Alec

'Tch. That's not a creepy response.

[Whatever. Long time no see Alec. He hadn't seen you since back when one could hope to find peace and quiet up on Thessa Station. He doubted with the influx of new 'residents' that it was much of an option now.

For the time being though he lowers the pistol, although he still keeps it firmly within his grasp.]

What the fuck are you doing all the way out here?

We're out in the middle of nowhere and you pulled a gun on me, and somehow I'm the creepy one? Yeah, okay.

[Once the gun drops the tension that had been building up in his shoulders releases and he wades further into the pond, until the water is chest level. But he's sure to keep a safe distance away from the other man.]

I could ask you the same thing. But I'm pretty sure we're here for the same reason.

For Giovanni

[He knew the moment Giovanni took up the challenge that he was probably outmatched. After all, this man was far from a normal human. But he had picked fights with those who saw themselves as stronger than man for a long time now. In in all his years experience, the one thing he had learned was that, where they exceeded in supernatural strength and ability they also exceeded in over-confidence and hubris.

Giovanni's kick was fast, stupidly fast. And the way he dipped down for a kick left Sanzo unable to attack further. Instead causing him to take the defensive by stepping to the side and stepping away from his opponent. The good thing about roundhouses, no matter how quick your opponent was, they needed to pull a full three-sixty from their standing position first. This gave Sanzo just enough time to duck back and avoid the kick, before backing away from Giovanni, attempting to garner some distance between the two of them.]

For Abelas

[Sanzo may not have known much magic (in fact he was practically inept with it despite any effort in training) but he knew a cheater when he fought one. Well, it perhaps helped that, despite his being unable to use any sort of mystical force, he was able to sense it being used from a mile away.

It wasn't a malevolent youki like the magic he had faced off against many times in the past, nor was it something of benevolent aura like that one kid he fought not too long ago. This was different, foreign to him, but he was still able to sense it.

So the bastard was using magic in a fist fight huh? What a fucking asshole.

None the less he did not call his opponent out on it, nor did he signify and end to the battle. So the pansy-ass was too chicken shit to fight man to man? It wasn't the first time he fought such opponents. In fact, he couldn't help but feel a smirk form at a rise to the challenge.

He allowed the kick to hit him, surprised at how feeble the hit actually was. Taking the moment of opportunity to grab the others leg as it made landing against him.]

You know, if you wanna play like that you have to be prepared for me to play back.

[His voice was gruff and heavy, his violet eyes sharp as he met Abelas' gaze, before taking a few steps back while still keeping his hold on the elf. Pulling his leg forward, he hoped to trip his opponent up. Only loosening his grip when he knew he pulled the other enough towards him that balance would have been impossible, only to quickly dive forward. Reaching one arm behind the smaller man and gripping the other hand Under his arm, he lifted him over his own shoulders in the process. With enough momentum surely he would be strong enough to swing his opponent down into a full-on hipthrow.]

'S not like I fucking own the lagoon. Do whatever the hell you want.

[Seriously. Sanzo's an asshole, but not so much of one that he'd shoot a guy down for sharing a bathing spot with him. As long as you didn't get on his nerves Venom, you're A-OK in his book.

Meanwhile he's just going to keep to his spot and go back to relaxing. Man, this water was the perfect temperature.]

[.... You do know that most of the brighter colored fish are that way because they're poisonous don't you?

Whatever, if you ended up sick and vomiting because of something you shoved in your face it would have been a lesson well learned. For now, just focus on keeping your damn mask attached as he walked around and adjusted the straps.]

Where we're going is deep underwater. Deeper even than that shitty river we had to cross, so don't you even think about removing this.

The item we're looking for will be at the very bed of the ocean. The trip will suck but it'll be worth it. If the rumors I heard were true, what's lying there will be worth enough money to feed even your bottomless wormhole of a stomach.

[Well, that was up for debate, but he was willing to test it.]

Hmph... Too many idiots ruining a good beach.

[He has every right to think you're creepy with the odd lines you just pulled on him. None the less, he's going to take the opportunity to go back to relaxing. No point in letting one of said idiots ruin a good moment for him. As long as Alec didn't continue to open his goddamn trap he would peacefully go back to enjoying the moment.]

Hmph. A weed huh?

[What's so special about something like that? None the less he found himself staring at it fairly intently. He looked over most of the reading material on the native flora and fauna to the region, but it was impossible to have it all memorized within the two months they've been stuck in Olympia. For all he knew he simply hadn't yet gotten to the part mentioning whatever the fuck this thing was supposed to be.]

And you think it's okay to just be touching it like that? For all you know you could end up having an adverse reaction to it through skin contact.

[Sorey, why are you so inept in dealing with nature?

Also, Sanzo still hasn't let go of your arm for some reason. Awkward.]

[The disadvantages of being his size was that there was very little he could do about being physically overpowered. He knew better than to fight it once he was off-balance, that would only needlessly exhaust him. What he does do is wait for just the right moment- throwing someone take a lot of effort and leaves one open.

So Abelas bides his time and waits until right as he's going down to jam his bony elbow into Sanzo's side for a kidney shot. If he had to go down, he wasn't going to do so quietly. Once he hit the ground himself, he quickly rolled himself away to get some distance while he got to his feet and regrouped.]

[Smart move Abelas. Sure enough Sanzo had left himself open and the shot was a solid one. He winced out, but knew better than to pause. Instead sucking up the sudden short-winded feeling that overcame him as he tumbled slightly right of Abelas. Now was not the time to pause, instead letting the slight pain boost his adrenaline. Pushing himself up from the ground slightly, he swept his own leg out in a low spinning kick towards his opponent, hoping that Abelas hadn't fully recovered from the fall himself.]

[Abelas was working on catching his breath again when the other lashed out with a kick. Fortunately he was quick enough to dodge it by jumping over it, but unfortunately it was preventing him from getting a solid footing again. He was on the defensive, which was far more risky for him than the human.

Not to mention, regardless of his years training, he spent so much time as a ranged fighter his instinct to regroup himself was to pull back to put distance between him and his opponent, thus Abelas gave ground in hopes of putting such a space between them.]

[Watching Abelas jump back to the defensive left Sanzo kneeling there, taking a moments break himself. It would be foolish to run off after his opponent without thought, and the other obviously seemed to be up to something. And so he kept his distance as well, eyeing the elf suspiciously. If this were a ranged battle involving weapons he had his own area of expertise, but this was not the type of fight for that.

And so instead he took the moment to catch his breath, pushing himself up to a stand, before bracing himself in case the bastard decided to charge at him with some sort of magic-fueled attack.]

Don't tell me you're running now.

[Come back Abelas, he was having too much fun for you to leave.]

[Venom frowns at Sanzo's language, but he takes it in stride. At least he's not raunchy like Anders tends to be. He sets his things down and strips to his shorts before dipping his foot into the other end of the lagoon. He makes sure to keep his distance as the last time he got into the water with someone, he ended up in bed with him.

So far, there hasn't been any off feelings of lust as Venom lowers himself into the warm water.]

[Abelas begins cautiously circling the other once more, sizing him up, looking for weak points in his form that he could potentially exploit. Also deliberately ignoring the other's taunt, for the moment anyway. He knew better than to be rushed, if the other was so eager to start again then he could make the opening move.

As it was, Abelas had his moment to regroup, he had gotten a taste for what the other was capable of, and was calculating his next move.]

If you are so eager to rush ahead then strike.

Mph...

[Sanzo could only nod his head in agreement. Really, he was surprised that no one else had found this pool before the two of them had. It was away from the tourist locations but it wasn't that far. The water felt perfect and clean and almost too relaxing.

None the less he tried not to question it too much.

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth?

Yeah. That's a good phrase for this situation.

He feels himself sinking further into the water, slowly, until only his head was sticking out and leaning back against the shore. A deep comfortable sigh, one he hadn't given in a long time, leaving his lips.

How long had it been since he last felt so relaxed?]

[It takes a bit longer for Venom to relax because of what happened before. He's constantly checking for any changes in temperature and emotion since that's how it got started with Peter. Not that Peter's a bad guy or anything (Venom liked it enough to establish a rare touchy-feely friendship with him), but he'd rather not go that route for a while.

Soon the water's warmth soothes Venom like it should, and he joins Sanzo in sighing comfortably. It's just an ordinary lagoon, much to Venom's relief.]

[Sanzo ducks back and away but Giovanni is already rising to his feet and it's in him now, the buzz and thrum from his Spine loud in his ears and up behind his eyes and the smile he flashes in the other man's direction the moment before he lunges for him is sharp and cold and vicious.

He's having fun now, yes he is.

The movement, once again, is abnormally quick and agile and filled with a skill no man quite as the right to possess, but possess it he does. And this time he pulls no punches, means to slam right into his opponent and bring him to the ground.]

[Alec is more then willing to let their conversation die there. He had been seeking solitude, and while this isn't quite what he'd had in mind, it's probably the best he's going to get.

But, unlike Sanzo, he doesn't plan to just sit still in the water. He plans to swim. Cue to the sound of splashing as he dives under the water.]

A weed. [ He reiterates. Though that seems to make him question his life choices a bit. As per usual, Sanzo doesn't help, either. ]

I know, I thought about it too. [ Especially after last time. Wildlife out here tends to be, uh... far less hospitable than back home in Glenwood. Sometimes he needs a reminder of that. ] But, if it happens, it happens! I didn't exactly come prepared to make any finds, but I wasn't going to leave without it.

[ Yeah, what was he going to do, Sanzo? Take off his swim shorts and use them as gloves?? The boy is way too modest for that! ]

Anyway, I'm surprised you didn't make any new discoveries around here!

[ He comments while (finally) looking around the lagoon.

Also, you can let go of his arm now, Sanzo. Aaaaany time. Unless, of course, that's an invitation? Well, even if it isn't-- ]

....... 'Tch. Whatever you want to do.

[He says nonchalantly, still grabbing your arm. Truthfully he's so oblivious to what he's doing he doesn't even really realize the awkwardness of the entire situation.]

Not like I own the lagoon. So you can do whatever you want.

[Of course, that is, it you're able to move anywhere at this point Sorey. At least his grip is loosened a little as his fingers casually find themselves fiddling with the leaves of your new found plant friend. You know, despite the fact that he was yelling at you for touching it with your bare hands a second ago.]

[Sanzo keeps a close eye on Abelas as he circled him, slowly turning in order to keep his back away from his opponent. He had no idea what this dudes next move was and he hated it. What he did know though, was that it required him to strike first.]

'Tch. What? So you can take me down with a punch or two? It'll take more than that you know.

[A thought came to him. Abelas wanted him to rush in? Then lets see what happens--

Bracing his stance he sprinted forward, charging directly at his opponent with his all before faking him out, stepping to the side at the last possible minuite. Instead of a direct blow he used the opportunity two twirl around Abelas and attempted to elbow him in the side of his back.]
