[The whole situation has Venom huffing, both internally and externally. His arms are crossed as well, his hair returning to its previous position.]

It appears to affect only certain spots, and as long as those spots are contained, there's no need to be upset.

I understood it's containment in Olympia but it feels more unpredictable here.

[Yeah, he's just going to continue to shift awkwardly. He's not enjoying this feeling one bit thank you. At least back in Olympia he knew to avoid the Red Light District like the plague. Out here though it was almost impossible to run from.]

It's harder to avoid. I felt it in the bar as well... And I'm still too new to this damn city to find out where it happens and where it doesn't.

[He paused, taking a moment to get his mind off his own current thought processes.]

[With that he looks up. His eyes piercing as he attempted to look directly at Venom.]

[There's enough of a gap in Venom's hair to meet that stare. And if not there's always the eye on his hair to accommodate.]

It's not causing us any harm, really. It's allowing us to relax and feel good for once.

[Venom kind of forgot how that felt until he came here. To touch, to indulge, to kiss...

He's really trying to get rid of that last thought.]

It's forcing us to feel things we wouldn't normally be feeling otherwise.

[Which, to be fair, was much the same with anything really. Beer, cigarettes, coffee... but that was beside the point. What was the point was that he didn't like feeling this. He didn't like those sudden little urges to be close, to touch. They were so foreign to him and made him feel vulnerable in a way he wasn't used to.]

It is a drug being forced upon us and I don't understand how everyone can be okay with that.

I believe the area is naturally like this, or at the very least, it's like this only during certain times. I doubt there's something sinister at hand.

[Despite the whole recent epidemic. Or that could be the growing lust talking. But he's continuing to be good and keeping his hands to himself.]

[How painfully annoying. And Sanzo most certainly didn't feel like that was all there was to it. But it looked like there was no point arguing with Venom. The guy seemed to be absolutely content riding out the aphrodisiac high that this land occasionally produced.]

So what, when it happens we just embrace it and let go of any previous inhibitions? Even if we wouldn't normally let such things get to us? Sounds like bullshit to me.

[He's just... Going to cross his arms... He's not at all hugging at himself uncomfortably under those big baggy robes of his.]

[Venom has too many inhibitions so it's nice to loosen up. He's crossing his arms more out of annoyance and general huffiness.]

Still... It could happen anywhere at any point and be caused by anything. And your answer for those who happen upon it with no warning whatsoever is to simply deal with it until they find a safe spot where it will go away?

[Those like himself at least. It felt wrong and unfair, the whole suck-up and shut-up way of thinking...

I have experienced this before, and I'm choosing not to give in out of respect for my present company.

[Another tense shrug. Truthfully he respected Venom a little more since he had come to realize that the incident at the spring wasn't on him. But as prideful as Sanzo was, he was never going to admit his mistake.]

But if you don't accept it you are stuck the rest of your days on this planet fighting it. How tiring.

[As willful as he was, he wasn't sure he could entirely last. Not with how prone to physical vices he knew he had been.]

Its a torn feeling, and an uncertain one. It's aggravating.

[He'll just fight it off as long as he can. It was all he could do. And it sucked.]

But it's also not constant. It might ebb and flow with Wyver's calendar, though I cannot be sure.

[He'd only felt it grow stronger during this night, and it wasn't contained like it is elsewhere.]

I believe I remember once reading something in some texts at the temples in Olympia. That such blessings and acts are seen as a blessing from Dharma herself.

[As awkward as a conversation as it had been, talking to Venom had ended surprisingly well this time. Perhaps it was because he wasn't accusing the guy of trying to get into his bathing-suit this time?

Naaah. That couldn't be it.

But upon seeing Venom bow he almost reflexively bows back in turn. Formalities seeming to take hold despite the previous tension.]

It wasn't much help but, I suppose good wishes are better than nothing. Enjoy whatever the fuck it is you'll end up doing tonight.

[He was willing to leave it at that if simply because seeing Venom huff about was somewhat amusing. But there was one thing grating on him, and he felt like it needed to be said before Venom ran off completely.

Ah, what the Hell. No one was here to see it so it wasn't like it would ruin his reputation. Might as well say it while he had the chance.]

[Venom feels like he really should leave Sanzo alone, but against his better judgment, he turns to face the blonde monk once more.]

[Ah, what a vague way to apologize Sanzo. But really, that's just how he tended to be when it came to admitting he had made a mistake.]
